SURFACED

The cotton production process that allows the Earth to further flourish, as opposed to decompose. By pursuing organic farming, keeping production domestic, and paying fair wages.

Made from repurposed 100% cotton jeans bought from the thrift store, this garment was woven together using a twill weave. Because of this, the neck hole is able to be made and resized anywhere by pulling apart the weave, and due to the nature of the garment to sit on the shoulders of its wearer, it is able to fit all body types.

The cotton poofs are of the same yardage, essentially feeding off of each other as cotton does in a bed of soil.
